A new Citizens Voice Body, named ‘Llais’, has been set up from 1st April 2023, replacing the Community Health Councils – to represent the publics’ voice in relation to health and social care services in Wales.
Llais say:
We’re an independent standalone Body set up to give the people of Wales much more say in the planning and delivery of their health and social care services – locally, regionally and nationally. We seek to hear peoples’ experiences so we understand what works well and how services may need to get better. And we look to particularly talk to those whose voices are not often heard. Llais also provides a complaints advocacy service should anyone wish to make a complaint about health and social care services in the local area.
