Autism Spectrum Connections Cymru (ASCC)
Autism Spectrum Connections Cymru (ASCC) is a dedicated service for autistic adults aged 16 and over. ASCC benefits from being part of Autism Initiatives Group of charities, which has successfully worked alongside autistic people for over fifty years.
We work alongside autistic people and their families to provide the safe space and tailored specialist support each individual needs to achieve their goals. Our range of support services include help with employment and making sure autistic people are claiming the right benefits.
Action for Neurodiversity
Action for Neurodiversity (AfN) offers bespoke, autism-specialist counselling and emotional support. We can help with individual counselling for those with autism/Asperger’s syndrome, relationship counselling where one or both partners has autism/Asperger’s syndrome, and/or counselling for close others – whether neurodiverse or neurotypical.
ADHD UK
ADHD UK was founded in 2020 with a mission to help those affected by ADHD – either those that have the condition or people close to them: family, friends, employers, and co-workers. We aim to help people navigate their life with ADHD, we want to reduce the stigma that some attach to those with ADHD, build awareness, and undertake or fund research that will have a meaningful positive impact on those with ADHD.

SNAP
We offer free and independent information, advice and support to help get the right education for children and young people with all kinds of special educational needs (SEN)/additional learning needs(ALN) and disabilities. We give advice and support on a range of issues including assessments, individual education plans, statements of special educational needs, bullying, school attendance, exclusion, health and social care provision and discrimination.
Behaviour Support Hub
Behaviour Support Hub is a parent-led, newly registered Charitable organisation, that provides early intervention and long-term support for parent carers. Our mission is to support and empower parent carers of children with additional needs, inspiring positive change for both parent and child, by developing skills, insight, training, and a peer support network.

Calm’s Guide to Neurodiversity
We provide life-saving services, information and advice to help anyone struggling with life navigate the issues that can make us feel miserable. We’ve got trusted tools that give you practical ways to manage your mental health. We campaign to make sure everyone has the knowledge and skills to unite against suicide.
Families First Advice Line
Children, young people and their families sometimes need a little extra help.
The Families First Advice Line is the first point of contact for parents, carers and professionals who have, or are working with children age 0-18 residing in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The Families First Advisors offer a personal service with an aim of listening to and assessing the strengths and needs of each family. We offer information and advice to support families in resolving their difficulties independently and assist them in accessing other services to support them further if required.
Cardiff Family Advice and Support
Cardiff Family Advice and Support offers a range of information, advice and assistance for children, young people and their families in Cardiff. The team can provide information and advice on:
- Family life
- Child behaviour
- Childcare
- Parental support
- School attendance
- Employment, money and housing
- Information and signposting to other services

C.A.L.L. Community Advice & Listening Line
CALL Helpline is the all Wales mental health helpline. It provides emotional support to anyone living in wales. The helpline operators provide a listening ear to anyone wanting support with their mental health.
Wales Autism Research Centre
The Wales Autism Research Centre (WARC) is a group of autistic and non-autistic researchers who are committed to high quality research that makes a positive difference to autistic people, their families, and those that support them.
Neurodivergence Wales/Autism Wales
The National Neurodivergence Team co-ordinates meetings of the Autism leads forum. The forum offers an opportunity to collaborate in developing and revising key resources and work on an all Wales basis.In resources are available across the AutismWales website linked here.
