Cardiff and Vale Area Planning Board

The APB exists to ensure that the substance misuse-related needs in the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff are met.

In compliance with the Core Standards for Substance Misuse, the APB ensures the strategic direction and work programme for substance misuse is consistent with and informed by evidence of need and evidence of effectiveness. The APB works with partner agencies to ensure that all substance misuse services form part of an integrated care pathway and holistic provision of service, based upon the needs of the population of Cardiff and the Vale and informed by national guidance.
