What we do

Adferiad is a Member-led Charity supporting people with mental health problems – with a special emphasis on those with a serious mental illness – and their carers and families. We also support others with a range of disabilities and their carers and families.

We meet from 11am to 1pm on the 3rd Thursday of each month at Chapter Arts Centre, Market Street, Cardiff CF5 1QE.

Can anyone use this service?

Carers are referred to our service via a Carers Assessment, either by the Cardiff Social Services carer support teams. Carers can approach their local social services Carer Support Team to request a Carer’s Assessment

Opening times

We support clients from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and also hold monthly peer support groups (no referral needed!) every 3rd Thursday of the month at Chapter Arts Centre, Canton, Cardiff – 11am to 1pm. Please contact the Family Support Team for more information.
