Adult Mental Health DirectorateThe Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (UHB) provides mental health services for clients (and their carers) between the ages of 16 and 70 with serious and enduring mental health problems.
Adult mental health service provision within Cardiff and Vale UHB is based on a neighbourhood model of care. The main focus has been the development of 6 Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) and 2 Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Teams (CRHTTs).
Area of Benefit
The Adult Mental Health Directorate within Cardiff and Vale UHB covers community and in-patient settings in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. In addition to our community services, we also provide primary mental health services and inpatient treatment.
We also provide specialist services such as addictions, low secure, eating disorders plus many more, some of which are across South Wales.
