ACTIF (Active, Connected, Engaged) is a study run by the Cardiff Metropolitan University and is looking at ways we can support people who are 65 years and older to stay mobile and maintain their independence for longer. The way we plan to do this is by matching older adults with volunteers who are themselves over 55 years old so they can get out and about and enjoy taking part in local activities together. We are looking for local people, to take part as participants or act as volunteers.
ACTIF offers older people a chance to be supported to get back into being more active doing something that they enjoy.
