Traumatic Stress Service

This Cardiff & Vale UHB outpatient service is based in the Hadyn Ellis Building on Maindy Road, and at Cardiff Royal Infirmary. The service is for individuals who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or complex PTSD. It offers evidence-based treatment including trauma focused cognitive behaviour therapy, eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing and medication review.

Referrals
Referrals are accepted following a full assessment by a mental health professional working in the local primary mental health support service or secondary mental health services.
