Consultation – Proposed Changes to Primary Mental Health Services – Closure of Primary Care Liaison Service and expansion of 111 Press 2

Wednesday 12th February from 3pm until 4.30pm
Monday Feb 24th February from 12pm until 13.30pm

Cardiff and Vale UHB states-
The Health Board is recommending that the Primary Care Mental Health Liaison Team (PCMHT) is disbanded and the resources currently offered in GP practices are transferred to help further develop the NHS 111 Press2 service. This change means that the service, provided through 111p2 would be available 24/7.

To make sure that the Health Board can address any concerns the public may have about this change, it is undertaking engagement activities until the end of March 2025 to listen to feedback and answer any questions.

Colleagues from the mental health team will be available to answer any questions at the following events:
For more information about the proposed changes, and the consultation events please see details for the UHB  attached

The UHB is keen to connect and hear from community groups.
