A bit more info about services in the light of the current situation. We aim to provide some regular updates without overloading you all too much at this time.
Grassroots is currently open as a drop-in for info and advice from 10am -4pm daily, 12noon - 4pm on a Thursday. Grassroots Groups and the Music Studio is closed.
This may change in the future dependent on local authority guidance- please contact Grassroots for updates - https://www.grassrootscardiff.com/. The Housing Service based in Grassroots and run by Llamau is open to telephone referrals.
The Emotional Wellbeing Service
The Emotional Wellbeing Service is part of Change, Grow, Live (CGL) and is commissioned to provide early intervention for emotional wellbeing in children and young people across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
The service is still running but cannot offer face to face sessions at the moment. Referrals can still be made for remote intervention and the group will be ironing out the nature of these over the next couple of weeks, - ie webchat, email, resources, phone. Beat’s online groups and Helpline are operating as normal and are available to any carers who were attending these events who may need support, as well as anyone affected by eating disorders.
The Amber Project is closed from today but will be providing a service to the young people they currently support through phone/social media. See https://www.amberproject.org.uk/
Careers Wales say…As of 5pm today, centres will be closed to the public and we will not be delivering face to face services from any outreach location, until further notice.
